The home is typically the biggest investment most of us will ever make. Growing and maintaining that investment takes a lifetime. While relationship is at the core of who we are at Coleman Construction, we understand that those relationships will not last if we do not do our part in protecting and growing your investment. Our belief is that earning your trust by keeping our promises will produce a lifetime investment for you.
At Coleman Construction you get an owner (David Coleman), who has worked in the construction industry for 31 years. He says,
“As long as I can remember I’ve liked fixing things. I’m interested in how things work and why they work. I recognize that God has given me the ability to see the relationship between the two. This gift is important in construction and makes itself apparent in what looks like “intuition”, but in reality is the gift of an eye for detail, experience in the trade, and a visual orientation for design.”
In the last two decades, I’ve had the opportunity to be a mentor to many young men, and I’ve lost count of those who’ve entered the profession on the foundation that I’ve been privileged to give them. While to many, mentoring your competition may seem to be a bad thing; I just don’t see it that way. To tell you the truth, my favorite thing to build in the construction trade is young men. I enjoy imparting a spirit of excellence in an honest trade, fostering personal integrity, and introducing a lifestyle of faith in God to these young men even more than I enjoy building a great room addition or beautiful deck. For me, life is holistic. My “calling” and my “job” work perfectly together. I guess you could say that I get to pay the bills and deposit eternal dividends!
